Sleep is overrated...sometimes...

Been trying to post more often, hopefully someone's noticed...or not, whatev. Anyway, I'll be in Orlando this weekend for a wedding...2 of my peeps are getting married (to each other, obviously), and it should be a good time overall.

Moving on, I've purposely avoided blogging about the Taylor vs. Ye situation, but I will post something this week, maybe...we'll see...regardless, I'm a fan of him, and I'm biased! Been bumpin' that 808's album all week! Love that shit!

Off to get some sleep now, its 5:53am! WTF! Peace and love.

Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Pt. 2 ...also very well worth the wait...it was #1 in iTunes the week it came out, til BP3 came out later that same week...but regardless, Rae managed to hit #1 WITHOUT a single or a video ahead of time...props to him!

The Bloody Beetroots - Romborama ...heavy/fat synths and loud goodness.

Simian Mobile Disco - Temporary Pleasure ...synthy electro pop at it's finest.

Fake Blood - Mars EP ...very cool shit...heavy synths and dope beats.

The Toxic Avenger - Superheroes EP ...definitely worth a listen.

- Bad Girls Need Love Too EP ...more heavy electronic goodness.

Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Be Real ...dope house track, with some remixes.

Deadmau5 - Ghosts 'n' Stuff EP ...definitlely one of my fav mau5 tracks (of all time...of all time)...with some different mixes and remixes...good shit.

A-Trak - Say Whoa EP ...this dude is a badass DJ/turntablist...and he makes some dope music too!

David Guetta - One Love ...great stuff, though a bit on the more pop-ish side of house/dance music, but good nonetheless.

Steve Angello & Laidback Luke - Show Me Love ...it has like 8 versions of the track, but they're all pretty dope.

Steve Angello - Be EP ...in true Angello fashion, very hard/heavy kicks and whatnot.

- Gypsy ...more of Angello's signature flavor, with the addition of 6 remixes by other folks, which are even better in some instances...you be the judge?

- Isabel ...great stuff.

- Teasing Mr. Charlie EP ...yea, some more of his signature stuff.

Steve Angello & Laidback Luke - Otherwize Then EP ...yea...nuff said.

Steve Angello & AN21 - Flonko ...love this track, though very simple...but the sample used in it is dope! And it's actually in a vlog by A-Trak from a while back...where he's in the studio with Steve Angello...look for it on YouTube.

True Faith w/ Final Cut - Take Me Away (2007 Retro: Detroit Remixes) ...if anyone's heard "Warrior's Dance" off the latest album by The Prodigy, then you'll recognize this track...which comes in a full album of remixes...bout 10 of them...but dope stuff...all very different...reminiscent of the 90's rave scene too.

Scientist - The Bee ...very 90's rave scene-ish...love it. Laid back type of beats and a synthy bassline, which I'm a total sucker for!

Shut Up and Dance - Dance Before the Police Come! ...haven't had the chance to listen to the entire album yet, but what I've heard is dope! It's 90's hip-hop at its best, but from London (I think)...and has a touch of that 90's rave scene at times...good stuff. I'll update about it later.
